AJR Home Inspections provides Central Minnesota with comprehensive home inspections to help relieve the stress and worry of a real estate transaction, whether you are seeking to buy a new home or do a pre-listing inspection before putting your home on the market.
AJR Inspections follow the ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors, www.ashi.org) standards of practice. ASHI is the organization that established home inspection guidelines and has the highest technical standards in the industry. I’ll use the ASHI standard of practice and my 30+ years as a builder/remodeler to provide you with an inspection that is valuable, informative and educational. Buyer/Seller Inspections
If you have any questions or issues with property listings, I offer property listing inspections for a full report on any home you are interested in buying or selling. I will inspect each area of the listing, and provide you with the proper details regarding repairs, maintenance work, and more.
Thermal Imaging
Thermal imaging is a non-destructive means of scanning for moisture, missing insulation, leaks in roof systems, and other building anomalies. I focus on heat or cooling loss by finding missing, misplaced, or damaged insulation in the walls, ceilings, and floors, as well as leaks around doors and windows which lets heat escape.
Radon Testing
Radon is a cancer-causing natural radioactive gas that you can’t see, smell or taste. Its presence in your home can pose a danger to your family’s health. AJR Home Inspections is a qualified radon testing service, using Continuous Radon Monitors for real estate transactions.

What Can You Expect?
A typical inspection will be 3-4 hours, depending on the size of the home. You are encouraged to be present at the inspection and ask any questions you might have along the way. Being present at the inspection will help you become familiar with all the systems and components of the home.
Within 24 hours of the inspection you will be provided with a digital, easy to read detailed report with pictures, recommendations and links to websites to help you identify improvements and upgrades that would help protect your investment.
